Jarvis Home

The home's voice butler, straight out of Iron Man: it listens, thinks with Claude or on the Mac itself, and shows what it is talking about.

Jarvis runs as the wallpaper of a Mac: an animated reactor, the time, weather, news and the machine's vitals. Say “Jarvis”: it recognises its owner's voice, answers with a butler voice synthesised on the Mac, and hands the real questions to Claude. Simple exchanges can stay on the Mac (Qwen, or Apple Intelligence on trial), and Qwen takes over when the Internet or Claude is unavailable. It keeps the household almanac: name days and birthdays of loved ones with a ready-made text message, tides, moon, severe weather, outings and matches. While it speaks, cards come out of the reactor and orbit it. A tutorial sets it up on first launch, and a settings window shows the state of every connection. It never moves, changes or deletes anything without asking.

  • Cloned butler voice synthesised on the Mac (XTTS), with a reactor waveform that speaks
  • Recognises its owner's voice and ignores the TV
  • Three brains, switched by voice: Claude Code (web, calendar, draft-only email, projects), Qwen on the Mac, Apple Intelligence on trial; Qwen answers when the Internet or Claude is unavailable
  • Media cards orbiting the reactor: videos, rain radar, marine weather, today's front pages
  • Morning briefing: weather, appointments, headlines, a horoscope computed from the real sky, and a summary of last night's Claude Code sessions
  • Household almanac: a saint for each of the 366 days, name days and birthdays of loved ones with reminders and a text message prepared in Messages (never sent on its own), public holidays and school breaks explained
  • Tides (coefficients and times for the chosen port, spring-tide alerts), moon, world clock, storm and hail warnings
  • Culture and outings: a daily watch for events, fixtures of the followed team, 40 flowers and their meaning, 2,732 expressions from around the world
  • First-launch tutorial, tabbed settings showing the state of every connection; mandatory confirmation before any file action
